My grandma's birthday is Dec. 31 and she LOVES her some RED... Her kitchen is decorated with strawberries and I decided to make her a chicken wire cloche, and these strawberries!
My daughter-in-love collects the original Strawberry Shortcake. I picked up some sheets of that design, which I am going to be making into kitchen curtains for her.
Since their kitchen is yellow, I am backing the kind of thin Strawberry Shortcake white background sheet with a yellow sheet.
I also plan on getting some yellow dish towels and trimming them with red and white polka dot material and red and yellow brick-a-brack.
Might need to make some cloth strawberries now too .... ;-}

O.K....I am a weird person, I am at peace with that, lol. I LOVE chicken wire and I cannot believe that I have never thought to make a red (my favorite color) chicken wire cloche. This is simply darling :)
