We went to this
thrift shop and boy was it awesome! I
recommend seeing if there is one near you, we have 3 in the Sacramento area. This place was CLEAN, and ORGANIZED, everything was color coded with a tag and rack, seriously not only were clothes neatly hung in size order they were grouped by color! All nick
nacky stuff was on shelves by color too! Here are my goodies!
Two more embroidery hoops for my collection and yesterday was 50% off blue tags, the hoops were 2 for $3.99 BUT they were blue tag so I got them half price! Wooden clamp hanger .69 cents, Americana basket .49 cents, chenille vintage blanket $1.99.
GREAT birdcage $3.99
Vintage embroidered
pillowcase $1.49
Silver baby cup with spoon handle $1.49, but blue tag so it was .75 cents.
Vintage metal
cuckoo clock pencil sharpener .99 cents.
{sorry for the blurry photo}
What a fun place to go!
Wow, Jen! What a rush! I know you will be going back there again soon! Wish I could join you... Lori

What great finds!! You will have to tell us where this one was. I am going to the Sacramento area at the end of July. That sounds like a great place to stop!! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like I need to take a thrifting field trip! I love the cathedral-looking bird cage!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had that kind of luck... perhaps it's just my city. lol
ReplyDeleteWhat did you decided about your closet? I thought about it a couple of times yesterday... and I know, that's really odd, and I might have an incurable issue with organization. (grin)
I am so excited to be able to go to that shop with y'all soon!!
ReplyDeleteLove all your finds!!
Elise
