Random Decor

Finally put fabric in my embroidery hoops, LOVE it!

Got out a bit of pre fall decor, Love it!


I had been gathering random things that make me smile,
added them to the playroom wall...
"The Wall of Randomness" Love it!

Decided to join the fall cloche party.

My parents came by the other day with a treat for me!
Pumpkin plate, Love it!

    Great post with lots of pretty things to share. I love your fabric hoops...ok I might have to copy this for my office/bedroom. I have a bunch of hoops when I cross stitch years ago...I really need to get back into that stuff again.

    Love the punpkin plate and oh the cloche made out of chicken wire...too cute!

    Love all your pre fall goodies and can't wait to see more. I plan on getting mine all out and around this weekend.

    Oh Jen, sucha great post. Lots of eye candy pieces. I love the chicken wire cloche. So creative. I love the idea with the embroidery hoops adding just beautiful fabric to them.     I really like the pretty vignettes you've created on your walls. They look just wonderful. Your chicken wire cloche is so pretty. I am so fascinated by the wire ones, they are so different. Your pumpkin plate is just toooooo cute. I have a silver one that opens like that to reveal 3 serving areas, but I have never seen such a cute on as your pumpkin.     I am loving it! I love the hoops. I too have some of those in my craft room closet just waiting for me to do something with them. Now, they just might get some attention!

    A "wall of randomness"??.. I think I've got at LEAST one or two of those in my house too!.. O.K... Maybe more than that! My daughter laughs at my discomfort with "empty spaces"!     I have a wall in my bedroom that I just hang random pictures on. They don't have to match, they just make me happy.

    Your pumpkin plate is very classy, folded up or open!! Suggestion - fill the top plate with candy corn and candy pumpkins, another with pumpkin bars {I have a WONDERFUL recipe for Cheesecake Pumpkin Bars} and on the third possibly sugar cookies cut in a pumpkin shape with orange food coloring added to the dough?

    Love the playroom wall! The wall color is terrific too, nice shade! And I love the embroidery hoops. What a fabulous look. I may try that, if you don't mind!!

    I'm waiting until October 1 to do my fall decorating. Our leaves haven't yet changed here in the Midwest. It's like a big long pause! lol!

    I love the way you decorate. Being raised by a single dad didnt give me the decorating instinct! Im working hard to try and be better and am currently working on painting my livingroom (with color) and doing more with the wall behind the couch- maybe you could give me some ideas???

    I like to decorate with photographs. I have had this slight OCD that I try to get over as I always have tried making every picture on the wall even! I was raised to decorate and dress in neutral colors ( a man thing!) Im about to take a leap and paint a wall in my livingroom "crushed brick" and use a rub on for one part of the wall. Any suggestions on decorating with photos? Also I plan to start posting on my blog with photos of a few things I want to paint and change and ask for suggestions... I will let you know when I do in case you have any ideas :) thanks

    The random is working for you. all your collections look great! Love the pumpkin tray. I found a white one at New and Again downtown a few weeks ago. Thought it was the coolest thing! Can't wait to serve some cookies, or chocolates on it.
