Yay! I cut my fabric today too!! I'm excited to see how Julie teaches me how to do all this!!!
Question: did you post a long time ago how to make signs...with letters you printed and then painted onto wood? I can't find it in your history, but I thought I remember you posting it??
The Scarfalong looks so fun!! I am afraid I am a little late to join. I do love your fabrics and can't wait to see how it all turns out. And your pie looks yummy!! :-)
Part of the reason I started doing the monthly listing of blog "theme day('s)" was due to how much fun I had following leads and stumbling across wonderful new blogs. There is no-way-what-so-ever I could stay caught up with all of the new blogs I find and enjoy, so I narrowed it down to just a very few, and continue enjoying my searching :-}
Last weekend I ended up making apple crisp becasue on one of her blogs, either 'Spend-a-buck farm' or 'Big Black Dog', Michelle had recently featured her version of it and my mouth wouldn't stop craving some. While I made my family's version, it was due to her starting the craving for it ;-p {p.s. here - I am head over heels in love with the way Michelle re-did her house and barn!!! They are so "me"!)
Jen, lately I have found you coming to mind often. The other day as I was driving down a road, somebody had set a wood table thingie out on the curb. The type that the top is a small beside a chair table and underneath is a magazine rack. I found myself wondering what you would make it into :-} {No, I didn't nab it - I am currently desperatly trying to decrease the amount of 'stuff' in this house ....}{gotta make room for 'stuff' for the grandchild o;->}
And then Monday, while I was out with a friend for the day, we stumbled upon so many cute Acorn things!! They always bring you to mind. They've also made me wonder just how much you really do like acorns and how many acorn things you really would like to collect. There were these acorns made out of wood, which you could tell what they were suppose to be both by their shape, but also due to the coloring of the different woods they had used to make them. They were beautiful!
Elise, I also saw these two little critters, could not rightly tell whether they were 'suppose' to be small sized squirrels or chipmonks, but they were so-o cute, and Jen has talked about how much you like squirrels ...
I find that now when I am out and about, I not only spot things which my "real life" friends would like, but also items that people I know through blogs would like. You guys have invaded "my world" :-D
