When Elise found out she was having a girl, I knew I wanted to make a girly quilt for baby "bird"... I decided to follow this table runner tutorial... Yes, it was a tutorial for a table runner, but I thought why not use the concept and make a quilt... I even bought a bias tape maker and made my own matching bias tape...Love it in it's washed crinkled state...
Jen- You MADE that??!!! It is gorgeous!!!! And, it is SO Elise! It is stunningly beautiful and she is going to love it!!!! Lori

ReplyDeleteMorning Jen :-} I hope your progressing towards really feeling well again!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is adorable!!! Now those are some "me" type of fabrics!
? Maybe it's just me, or my eyes, or ... where did you use bias tape on it?
I am soon going to be starting on the quilt for my grand daughter - her first birthday party is scheduled for June 5th. Any specific tips? I use to sew more, and even quilted at one point in time... looking forward to going back to it!
Love it.. very shabby chic ;)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric choices. Thanks for sharing the tutorial too! I love the way your quilt looks.
ReplyDeleteThis is darling!! What a sweet friend you are! I had no idea that you could even make your own bias tape. That could be because I don't sew---but whatever.
ReplyDeleteSuper Cute Jen!!!
