turned all of my piles upside down trying to find it.... ugh...
When he left for work I decided baking would make me feel better, we had gone last night and I spent $2.50 on pretzels, $3.99 on a bag of Kisses, and $3.99 on pink M&M's to make these... Well, it did NOT work, and I am not sure what happened???
My kisses crumbed they didn't melt. What an ugly mess... The icing on the "cake" was I burned my finger on the HOT pan, my skin melted, but not those KISSES... Not sure what I am more mad about, WASTING an entire bag of kisses and NOT having those treats for the boys teachers, or burning my finger!
NOTE: The oven temp needs to be between 170 and 200 degrees and only cook kisses for 2 to 3 minutes... The original recipe called for too high of a temp. and too long cooking time....

Whoa! You need a cyber-hug! I'm sorry your treats didn't turn out...do they taste good anyway? Sure look like they do. I just don't think you can go wrong with prezles and chocolate! Here's hoping your day gets better!

Ok, I will have a whiny wed with you. I have had a headache since around 4 AM and just returned from the Dr with bronchitis, and still have the headache, lots to do before I head to my daughters house, and no get up and go to do it. Sorry about those kisses. Jackie
bummer! where did you get the recipe? I don't like it when things don't turn out the way the directions say they will!
Oh, I am so sorry! I have days like that too! I hope tomorrow is a better day!

How do you add the pictures and Etsy link to your blog? I need to know how to do this!
I'm sorry you had a bad day! I'm a pile queen too! I come from a long line of piling women. I'm trying to get better at it. But I think I need professional help!
I know a similar recipe that is awesome:
1 bag of pretzels
1 bag of Rolo candies
pecan halves
Put wax paper on a cookie sheet
Place pretzels on sheet
Put a Rolo on top of each pretzel.
Bake in oven 4 minutes at 250 degrees.
Take out of oven (Rolo will probably not be melted completely)
Push a pecan half into the middle of the Rolo to "squish" it down
Let sit for 10 minutes or until firm (I put mine in the fridge for 10 minutes to cool/harden quicker).
ENJOY .... one batch won't last long!
I've made these before, and they are actually easy...or I wouldn't be able to do it! I think they just gave you the wrong oven temp. Bummer!
