Felt Food Chocolate Chip Cookie Tutorial

I found lots of tutorials on felt fruit and made these strawberries, but couldn't find one for chocolate chip cookies... Come on, who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies...?

So here is my Chocolate Chip Cookie Tutorial...

I traced a jar lid on folded felt, so I could cut out both front and back.

Then with darker brown felt, I cut out random shape "chips"

Sew your "chips" onto the top circle.
Then pinned right side to right side.

Sew around the "cookie" don't forget to leave an opening for turning right side out.

Stuff with batting.
Pin the opening and hand stitch the hole closed.
Super Easy and the kids LOVE them!

Absolutely adorable. My kiddos are too old for these unfortunately, but still they are so cute. I'll have to send the link to my sister.

Jen, in my 'blog surfing' this morning, I came across a picture which I thought I should tell you about. It's at the blog called "V. & Co." http://www.vanessachristenson.com/ and in one of the pictures, she shows her daughters table with adorable little sugar cookies on it ;-}
My grand daughter is two weeks old today - and I am finding ALL kinds of wonderful ideas for her o:-p
If your ever curious, your welcome to visit my 'blog' www.xanga.com/thehousethatlovebuilt. Last Friday (6/12/09) I posted the third installment about blog "theme days".
Just thought I should show you the sugar cookies...
