We have spent the last week swapping rooms, we moved our two youngest into the "playroom". This was more work than moving. Beds had to be completely disassembled and reassembled, we pulled up flooring, we have original hardwood under the carpet, so up the carpet came.
As you can see we still have some things to put away.
I made a HUGE pennant banner for there ceiling.
Their old bedroom had this lovely lino under the carpet, I decided why not paint it...

Turns out the man at the paint store sold us the wrong paint, so I am not sure how it will stand up to walking on, we shall see... If not my hubby will install new floor over the top.
Unfortunately EVERYTHING from this room is currently in my living room and hallway, I am going crazy... Just thought I'd check in and let you know until I get this mess cleaned up, I might be sparse with posts!

Cute banner
I am thinking about swapping 3 of our rooms - but now after seeing all your work - I wonder if I should :)
it looks great. hope the paint works on the lino - it looks nice right now.
That's a huge project, and I had no idea you could paint lino! Crazy.
Hope you get to finish and get rest soon...
You have been a busy girl! I love that banner you made - so cute! And the painted floor looks awesome!

The banner is so cute.
White paint spruces everything up :)
I left you an award on my blog!
That banner is soooo CUTE! You have been quite busy with the moving of the room and painting that floor. Can't wait to see how everything turns out.
Can't wait to see the finished playroom or Lisie's room!! Hahaha!! Love the banner!!

ARE YOU CRAZY?!? Don't you know trading rooms is a PAIN in the neck? ;) However, puting the boys in the "back" room is a fantastic idea! Love that your crafting area will be closer to the front door (so I can check out your current work without going thru your home) :) Everything looks great! Keep up the good work!
Miss you,

Bummer about the wrong paint.
Sounds like a big project. Good luck with it.
It always feels so good to see the finished product though! Can't wait to see the NEW room!
It will all be worth it when it's finished but during the project it is difficult to live a house turned upside down.
