Dusty Web Getter

As a child I remember having these dusty web getters... My great grandmother made them, and they were fun to use! I asked my mom a few days ago if she knew how to make them or had an extra one around... She made this for me the next day!! Look how cute! The best part is when it gets dirty you throw it in the wash...
What's hiding in the sleeve?? Why a yard stick of course!

Now, I have no excuses for dust webs....
They also work great for light fixture and above doors!

Oh yeah. I'm a-wantin' one of those things. We got BUGS down here in Texas and this would take down the webs real nice-like. Or, I could use it to beat the critters!

What a great idea! I need one for my vaulted ceilings...I don't think a yardstick would be long enough!

I just busted out the "webster" and hit the beams and ceiling fan. The clumps of dust falling down were downright embarrassing!

Cute! How does it close up to keep the yardstick inside and still be removable for washing?

I love it. I wish I knew how to make one.

Oh that is adorable. Now you need your Mom to give us a tutorial so we can make one of our own.
