Do's and Don't's of Cadbury Mini Eggs

These are by far my FAVORITE candy, and I ALWAYS look forward to Easter when the stores are well stalked with Cadbury Mini Eggs... In fact my parents, sister, and myself have been known to call each other the moment we spot them for the first time of the season... {By the way consider this your call} Our Target has them! Oh yes they do, bought a bag today, it's almost gone. Although I don't like sharing them with my husband, not for the obvious reason {I want them for myself} It's because he eats them WRONG!! Yes, there is a RIGHT and a wrong way to eat a mini egg...

DO NOT... pop more than one egg in your mouth at a time.

DO... pop ONE egg at a time.

DO NOT... Crunch the sweet hard shell upon entering your mouth.

DO... Savor the sweet hard shell.

DO NOT... Chew your mini egg.

DO... Carefully crack the hard shell with your back teeth, until you have crunched all the shell gone.

DO NOT... Bite the chocolate egg while eating the hard shell {make sense, I spared you the photo tutorial}

DO... Let the milk chocolate egg melt away {delicious}

DO... repeat...

I just have one suggestion (as I too have a Cadbury Mini Egg addiction)....throw them in the freezer!! They are divine and even more savory when the hard candy shell is icy cold!!

I just read that Kraft foods bought out Cadbury-I sure hope they don't change the recipe and that they keep making the mini eggs the same as always!

Cute Post!

Jen, very comically written posting!!! delightful!!! :-D And I, for one, would like to thank you for NOT making it a pictureal tutorial!!! {Espically the wrong way to eat them pictures}!! ;-p

So under 'Lipstick Jen' I had acorns, Pepsi, peanut M&M's, and chocolate in my 'file'. I shall be adding Cadbury mini eggs!

So, since they are now avaiable in a store near you, does that mean that it's time to take down your Valentines decorations {Hey you acknowledged it's coming}, slide right past St. Patrick's Day **, and go full hilt into Easter decorating?

{** you can/could always make one small areas decorations primarily green, and include St. Pat's in it by only having green eggs* in a small pot with handle thingy-mer-bobber. }o;-p

{ps - the *green eggs I was referring to, were the cadbury mini ones, NOT the Dr. Suess kind ... just making sure I'm clear o;-b}

Wishing you a day full of savoring the swetness ;->

Ahhhh! I was just at Target and didn't see any and I was even in the candy section. I couldn't agree with you more about how to eat these divine little pieces of heaven. Savor, relax, enjoy the experience.

Now I am off to talk to the manager at our Target and as just WHY DON'T WE HAVE ANY CADBURY MINI EGGS YET!

Since you admitted that you do not like Girl Scout cookies I will admit that I do not like Cadbury Mini Eggs... I like the malted milk eggs :) But I do have my "right" way of eating those too :)
