Burlap Nest Tutorial

Supplies:

3 Burlap strips 1 inch by 36 inches

Floral Wire pieces 12 inches

Mini Eggs

I looped my wire through my burlap strip about 1/2 inch in and twisted.
Weave the wire in and out of the burlap and gather.
Twist the ends together and form a circle.
Make 2 circles.

Then on the 3rd strip pull burlap super tight
{this creates the bottom of the nest}.

See the wire "tail" leave this.

Set a burlap circle on the bottom and with the wire "tail"

weave around {like sewing} to attach.

Repeat with top circle, cut a couple pieces of wire and

randomly run the wire through and twist.

Now your nest is secure and finished!

Side view. Leave the stray frays it makes it more nesty...

Add eggs!

Quite realistic looking!!! All you need now is to stick some tiny pieces of colored string, and some little fake feathers into the burlap and it would pass "Quite" into "very".
