Great Dollar Store craft...
The entire project was less than $8.
I bought 8 inch and 10 inch doilies from the Dollar Tree,
20 cent packets of Kool-Aid, and a piece of cotton string.

Add hot water to your containers...

I had to add a few drops of yellow food coloring,
the yellow Kool-Aid was super light.

Left soaking over night, and in the next morning dried them, be careful they don't touch, the color will bleed when wet.

Put a piece of tape around the end of the string.

Weave through the folded doily...

Linking up...

Hi Jenn :-)
You never cease to both amaze and amuse me with your creativity.
Your banner is definitely cute! One ? is, are you going to leave it hanging on the fence, or do you have a different place in side in mind for it?
2nd ? - you too live with a household of males. What was their take on this "girlie" creation?
I am going to go share the link to this posting with a friend whom I KNOW will think it rocks!
this is fun!
i'm adding it to my summer craft list.
i think my son will think it's rad to dye things with kool-aid. ;)
Jenny, that is sooo fun!!! I am going to do a modified version of this and put in our back room. LOVE it!!!!
