California Poppy Garland Tutorial

California Poppy Garland...

You will need a few sheets of orange felt, one sheet of green felt, and any other color in a couple shades, I chose brown and tan. Each flower will require two poppy shapes....
Stack the two shapes...

Pinch in half and in half again... Stitch with a needle and thread...
This will create your Poppy...

Here are my patterns... Using green felt cut out 1 leaf per flower. I then free hand cut several circles, in two sizes... You will also need to cut out larger orange circles to attach the Poppy to.
Attach the leaf to the bottom of the flower...
Line up your circles until you like the look and length, placing the larger orange circle where your Poppy will go...
Next run using a long stitch on the sewing machine each circle through...
You will have an attached garland...
Hand stitch the Poppy onto the orange circle...
