Making "Green Apple Juice" with my Green Apples...

Um okay, so I am making "apple juice" with my green apples... For starters hubby ended up needing new tires to go on said trip... {check} Tanner came home from school with a fever, that on Wednesday night ended up spiking to 105.2... Made him a Dr. appt for Thursday {the day we are set to leave} I had to work, so hubby took him... Turns out my BABY has pneumonia... The Dr. assured us he would be in great hands with Pa and Nama and that the super strong antibiotics would help with in 48 hours... SO... reluctantly I got in the truck and cried all the way to Reno {3 hours} Got to our hotel, to find out regular rooms opened up so no spa suite was needed... HOWEVER, the room we are in is very luxurious and wonderful. I have called checking on my baby many times, each phone call the fever is lowering and he is being SPOILED rotten by his Pa and Nama... Nama even brought him home a Dr. kit... {big sigh} I love being with my hubby and while he has been in meetings today, I was able to take a much needed nap... There you go "apple juice"...

Oh Jen ... here is an oversized hug!!!! Satan sure likes to test us/through rachets into our plans w-a-y past where we think his line should be!!!

Originally when I read the title of Tuesday's posting, and saw your green apples, I thought you had already packed up Valentines and were jumping right into St. Patrick's day .... if only, huh?

Try to relax a little ... grab sanity when it can be grabbed!!

It is so hard to leave the babies when they are sick, but Grammy's and Grampy's have special powers in that department! I am glad that you were able to go and enjoy your husband!

Although I like your attitude about making "lemonade out of lemons" so to speak... I do like Cheryls idea for green apples to decorate with for St. Patricks Day! I don't know why I am flying through these holidays but I am ready to pack away the green and get out the eggs!
