Dancing Daisy

I purchased this cute little daisy from the Dollar Tree, you know the item they have featured at the register and ask if you would like to add? Well, how could I resist a box of dancing daisy's? I spotted the little red pot with a white daisy and it came home with me. I enjoyed watching that daisy dance every morning, my kids liked the dancing daisy, my friends liked my dancing daisy, and unfortunately my cats liked the dancing daisy. So much so they batted it right off the dresser and then my daisy danced no more... I tried to shake it, look inside (it was too tightly sealed), and finally decided, I would just have to throw it away... But instead, I set it in my hutch in the kitchen. Weeks have past and just yesterday I saw slight movement?? Was my daisy dancing again? I picked it up and set it outside in a super sunny spot and just like that, she was dancing... I am so happy I didn't throw my daisy away...

Which got me to feeling thankful that when I am not "dancing"
( praying as often, reading the word, having the right attitude, being appreciative, etc )
that my Jesus doesn't give up on me,
He patiently waits for me to start "dancing" again...
I'm much happier when I am "dancing" my kids are happier, my friends are happier, and I would venture to say my cats are happier too...

Yay, she is dancing again... thought I saw some life in her the other day. Great way to use it as a God moment too <3

What everyone else said... :)
Lilly had a flower that danced, too, but it ceased dancing.
Your little daisy is a happy one!!

I have 2 of those on my kitchen window sill. Our church gave them out as Mother's Day presents. I just love them...they make me happy:)

Hi Jen :->

While your daisy is not my kind of a 'thing', I will admit it is cute. And I can most definitely see why you would snag one. ;-)

I am glad that it got it's groove back. o:-p

I REALLY like the analogy you made with this story! So true! And so encouraging!

It is interesting how it is the little things that make the biggest impression on us. I too bought one of these and it sits in the windowsill of my craft room and it makes me happy when I see it "dancing". Because where I live it mostly overcast most of the time and when I see her dancing in what little bit of light that comes though then I know I can have a good day, too.
